I've never got fashion.
I was in Loose Change Records today flicking through the new Afends catalogue and I noticed how ugly and expensive some of these items ($60 for a T Shirt? Jeans covered in a print of yellow diamonds?).
Who sits there and decides what is going to be the must have idea/ideas of each season?
Is there some sort of Building like in Joise and the Pussycats (great movie!) where people work around the clock to decide.
But it isn't just teenagers that are so swallow and have to be 'cool', people my age and above still go out every few months and get the newest season items.
Whats the difference between the jeans I get from Target for $35 at most and jeans that are $200 from Jeans West or Just Jeans?
Is it just piece of mind?
What does the extra $100ish you spend at those type of places justify?
Pretty sure you wear them all the same?
Thinking about Josie and the Pussycats has got me thinking of a certain person, I miss them a lot sometimes, just wish we could talk sometimes but then I realise they are the same person as they were when they were 16 and I can't stand that. I wonder at what point they'll realise the mistakes they're made.
